I bought this card and I was expecting a PCI-E slot, but what I got was strange cut down version which only fits a proprietary didgital adaptor for the onboard graphics. Being a phlegtmatic type I swore for only five or ten minutes, then bought a PCI card.
I've therefore only taken this out of its packing, stared at its connector and the socket in the computer in a bemused way, sworn a bit, photographed it and repackaged it. I haven't tested it - because I can't - but to the best of my knowledge it's working fine. If by any chance it isn't then of course I will refund in full. Please test it and let me know within seven days, though.
What you get is the box, the card and the printeed manual. I simply can't remember if there was a CD with it, and can't find it if there was, but all the drivers are easily available through xxx.XFXforce.com - probably more recent than on the CD. If a CD turns up I'll bung it in, of course.
It's 450g in its box, so I expect will be just under 750g when wrapped. That's £2.65 first class, so I hope £4 P&P - includes jiffy bag, sticky tape and personal attention - sounds fair.
Incidentally, I chose this because I was looking for something Linux compatible and not too expensive. Nvidia seems to have the best reputation for Linux support, and as far as I could tell this seems to have been the best budget end chipset they did a couple of years ago. Most reviews seemed to put it slightly ahead of the 7600GS with 512MB RAM and well ahead of the 7600GS with 256MB. Just in case you're as baffled as I am by these things
